A. The first assistant district attorney of the Twelfth Judicial District shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid by the state, an annual salary of not less than two thousand four hundred dollars, payable monthly on his own warrant by the parish of Avoyelles. B. The second assistant district attorney of the Twelfth Judicial District shall receive as compensation for his services an annual salary of not less than two thousand four hundred dollars, payable monthly on his own warrant by the parish of Avoyelles.
