A. The governor shall designate one voting member to serve as chairman at the pleasure of the governor. The chairman shall serve as chief executive officer of the commission. B. The domicile of the commission shall be in Baton Rouge. The commission shall hold public meetings monthly except as otherwise provided by vote of the commission or by order of the chairman. C. A simple majority of the voting membership of the commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. D. The Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice shall provide to the sentencing commission such clerical, administrative, and technical assistance and support as may be necessary in order to enable the sentencing commission to accomplish its goals.
