A. Adulterating a food product is the intentional contamination of a food product by adding to the product, or mingling with the product, any feces, urine, blood, saliva, semen, any form of human or animal waste, or other bodily substance with the intent that the product be provided to or consumed by another person who has no knowledge of nor consents to the contamination. B. For purposes of this Section: (1) "Food product" is any food, drink, condiment, or medication, including all substances and preparations used for or entering into the composition of the product. (2) "Medication" means any prescription or nonprescription drug. C. Whoever commits the crime of adulterating a food product shall be fined not more than two thousand dollars, imprisoned with or without hard labor for not more than five years, or both.
