Property exempt from execution; penalty for deprivation of rights

A. No person shall make any seizures prohibited under R.S. 13:3881 or shall, by any artifice or subterfuge, induce or procure another to sign away, by contract or otherwise, any of the rights he may have under R.S. 13:3881. B. Whoever violates this Section shall be fined not more than two hundred dollars, or imprisoned for not more than six months, or both.
