A. No alien student or nonresident alien shall falsify any information required in R.S. 32:409.1 for the purpose of obtaining a driver's license or a special identification card from the office of motor vehicles. B. Upon arrest for falsifying information pursuant to this Section, the arresting agency shall immediately notify the INS of the name and location of the person. C. Whoever commits the crime of falsifying information required for the purpose of obtaining a driver's license shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars, imprisoned for not less than six months, or both.
