A. No evidence shall be received in any proceeding in any court in this state for the purpose of proving any adoption except a lawful adoption in accordance with the laws of the place where the adoption is alleged to have occurred. B. By lawful adoption is meant an adoption in regard to which all of the formalities prescribed by law have been observed.
