Territorial jurisdiction; Bienville Parish justice of the peace courts

A. Effective January 1, 2003, the territorial limits of the justice of the peace courts in Bienville Parish shall be based on and correspond to the district and precinct system adopted on October 28, 1991, by the police jury of Bienville Parish in its reapportionment resolution Ordinance No. 3 as follows: (1) The first justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, and 6-1C. (2) The second justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, and 3-4. (3) The third justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 6-1, 6-1A, 6-1B, 6-2, 6-2A, 6-3, 6-4, and 6-5. (4) The fourth justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 4-1, 4-2, 4-2A, 4-3, 4-4, 5-1, and 5-2. (5) The fifth justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 7-1, 7-1A, 7-2, 7-2A, 7-3, 7-4, and 7-4A. B. The persons elected to the offices of justice of the peace and constable for such justice of the peace courts at the 2002 congressional election and their successors to office shall be elected from the districts provided in this Section.
