Absence or inability of marshal; vacancy in office

A. When the marshal is absent or unable to act for any cause, the judge may appoint any other person as temporary marshal. B. Repealed by Acts 1999, No. 1345, §4. C. If the unexpired term is for a longer period than one year, an election to fill the vacancy shall be ordered by the proper legal authority under the general election laws.
