Corporate and limited liability company name

A. The corporate name shall consist of the full name or names as used on the license to practice dentistry issued by the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry of one or more voting shareholders, may include "Limited" or "Ltd.", and shall end with one of the phrases, which may be in parentheses, "A Professional Dental Corporation", "A Professional Corporation", or "A Dental Corporation". The name need not contain "Incorporated" or "Inc." B. The name of the limited liability company shall consist of the full names as used on the license to practice dentistry issued by the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry of all participating members and shall contain the words "limited liability company", the abbreviation "L.L.C." or the abbreviation "L.C.", as required in R.S. 12:1306(A)(1). C. This Section shall apply to all dental practices as defined in Chapter 9 of Title 37 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 1 whether or not said dental practices are in conformity herewith prior to August 15, 1995.
