This Chapter does not apply to: (1) Any corporation organized for any purpose involving pecuniary profit or gain to its shareholders or members, or which pays dividends or similar pecuniary remuneration; (2) Co-operative marketing or credit associations or corporations organized under the provisions of Title 3; (3) Any corporation transacting any type of insurance business; or (4) Foreign corporations, whether business or nonprofit, except where reference is made to such corporations.
