Fireman's pension and relief fund of the parish of Ouachita; creation

There is hereby created a fireman's pension and relief fund for Fire Protection District No. One of the parish of Ouachita, state of Louisiana and a public corporation to be known as the Board of Trustees of the Fireman's Pension and Relief Fund of the parish of Ouachita, Louisiana, which corporation shall be vested with the power to administer the fund herein provided for, to sue and be sued, to buy and sell securities for investment of the surplus monies of the fund, to allow disability payments and pensions as hereinafter set forth, to employ necessary clerical and professional services and fix the compensation of same. Designated from Acts 1968, No. 31, §1 by Acts 1991, No. 74, §3, eff. June 25, 1991.
