A. It shall be the duty of committee members to attend and participate in all committee meetings. The chairman shall be responsible for maintaining a record of the members present and the members absent at each committee meeting. B. Each committee chairman shall notify the Speaker of excessive absences and may request the Speaker to remove any member for excessive absences. Mason's Manual: Sec. 629
