A. Every juvenile shelter care facility shall maintain a permanent record of certain information as to each child received. The record shall include: (1) The child's name and address. (2) The date and time of the child's entry into the facility. (3) The name of the person who brought the child to the facility. B. The record in which such information is kept shall not be open for public inspection. Peace officers, counsel representing the child or the parents, the district attorney, the department, persons collecting statistical information, and authorized officers of the court shall have access to the record.
