Under the supervision of the CASA program, it shall be the duty of a CASA volunteer to: (1) Provide independent, factual information to the court regarding the children and cases to which they are assigned. (2) Advocate on behalf of the children involved in the cases in which they are assigned what they perceive to be in the best interest of the children. (3) Monitor proceedings in cases in which they have been assigned and advise and assist the court in its determination of the best interest of the children involved.
