JURISDICTION, GENERAL AUTHORITY, AND APPEALS CHAPTER 1. DEFINITIONS Art. 301. Definitions As used in this Title, "nonmetropolitan area" means a parish whose largest city has a population of fifty thousand or less and where the population of the entire parish is less than one hundred thousand.
