NOTE: Art. 1642 enacted by Acts 2010, No. 893, §1, eff. when the 35th state enacts the Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children. Financial responsibility for any child placed under this compact shall be determined in accordance with Article 1629. However, in the event of partial or complete default of performance, other provisions of law may also be invoked.
