A. Any minor sixteen years of age or older may apply for voluntary admission to a treatment facility pursuant to this Chapter. B. A minor so admitted shall have the same rights as an adult patient. C. The admitting physician may admit the person on either a formal or informal basis, as hereinafter provided.
