A. Upon the filing of the petition, the court shall assign a time, not later than eighteen calendar days thereafter, and a place for a hearing upon the petition and shall cause reasonable notice thereof to be delivered at least ten days prior to the hearing to the minor, the minor's attorney, the petitioner, and the Louisiana Department of Health, bureau of legal services. B. The notice shall inform the minor of the right to be present at the hearing; the right to counsel and, if indigent or otherwise qualified, the right to have counsel appointed from the MHAS; and the right to call and cross-examine witnesses testifying at any hearing on the petition.
