A. This Title sets forth the exclusive procedures for adoption of children in Louisiana. There are three types of adoption of children in Louisiana: (1) Agency adoption. (2) Private adoption. (3) Intrafamily adoption. B. The procedures governing each type of adoption are set forth in the following Articles.
