Notice of decision in criminal appeals

A. In addition to the requirements regarding transmission of notice of judgment and copies of decisions under the Uniform Rules of Louisiana Courts of Appeal, when a decision in an appellate court in a criminal appeal is rendered, the clerk of court shall transmit a notice or copy of the decision to the clerk of court from which the appeal was taken and to the Department of Public Safety and Corrections. B. When a decision of the supreme court is rendered in a criminal appeal, the clerk of court shall transmit a notice or copy of the decision to the clerk of court from which the appeal was taken and to the Department of Public Safety and Corrections.
