Proceedings subsequent to appointment of tutor

Proceedings relative to a tutorship subsequent to the confirmation or appointment of a tutor who is domiciled in the state shall be brought in the parish of his domicile if he is living at the time or, if he is dead, in the parish where he was last domiciled. If the proceedings are brought in a court other than the one which confirmed or appointed the tutor, the court may require the filing of certified copies of all or any part of the proceedings in the other court. Proceedings relative to a tutorship subsequent to the confirmation or appointment of a tutor who is not domiciled in this state, or who has left the state permanently, shall be brought in the court which confirmed or appointed him.
