Confirmation of registered support order for modification

A. If the obligor files a timely objection and, after a hearing, the court finds: (1) There exists a legitimate basis for objecting to the registration, the court shall issue an order vacating the registration of the support order. (2) There exists no legitimate basis for objecting to the registration, the court shall issue an order confirming the registration of the support order. B. If the obligor fails to file a timely objection, the registered support order is confirmed by operation of law and becomes executory in all respects.
