Liability for damages; prohibition of award; unauthorized alien

A. As used in this Article, "unauthorized alien" means a person who is unlawfully present in the United States according to the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, 8 U.S.C. 1101 et seq. B. General damages and past and future wages shall not be awarded to an unauthorized alien in an action for damages arising from an automobile accident. C. This Article shall not apply to a claim made against an uninsured or underinsured motorist policy which names the unauthorized alien as an insured.
