Stenographers; minute clerks; salaries; deputy sheriffs; judges' vacations and absences

Section 85. Each of the judges of the said Criminal District Court shall appoint his stenographer and his minute clerk with such salaries as may be now or hereafter authorized by law. The Criminal Sheriff for the Parish of Orleans shall assign a deputy sheriff to each of said divisions or sections of said court to act as crier. The judges of the said Criminal District Court shall have the power to regulate the order of their vacations, and to authorize any judge of said court to act in the place of an absent judge.
