Kentucky Code § KRS 65.327

Use of existing training providers

(1) The Local Government Training Advisory Council shall use the expertise of existing training providers in developing new or expanded programs. This includes but is not limited to: (a) All institutions of higher education and affiliate organizations that pro vide training and technical assistance to local governments; (b) State agencies that provide training related to statutory or regulatory oversight responsibilities; (c) Area development districts; (d) Public official professional associations; (e) Private providers associated with established certification programs; and (f) Any other provider suitable for developing effective training programs. (2) The council shall be attached to the Department for Local Government for administrative purposes.
