Kentucky Code § KRS 61.793

Prohibition against disclosure of personal information

(1) Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, and subject to the exemptions described in KRS 61.795, a public agency shall not: (a) Require any individual or nonprofit organization to provide the public agency with personal information or otherwise compel the r elease of personal information; (b) Release, publicize, or otherwise publicly disclose personal information in its possession; or (c) Request or require a current or prospective contractor or grantee with the public agency to provide a list of nonprofit or ganizations to which the current or prospective contractor or grantee has provided financial or nonfinancial support. (2) Personal information shall be exempt from disclosure under the Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 to 61.884.
