(1) The purchaser of property sold under an order of court shall give bond for the price, with good surety, approved by the officer making the sale, payable to him or to the person entitled to receive the money, as the court may direct; or, if the court make no order on the subject, they shall be made payable to the officer. (2) They shall bear interest from date at the rate the judgment bears. (3) They shall have the force of judgments; and on executions issued upon them no replevy shall be allowed, and sales shall be for cash.
