Kentucky Code § KRS 38.470

Student's credit when called into active service

If the Kentucky National Guard or Kentucky active militia is called into state active duty by the Governor or into federal active duty by the President of the United States for any purpose, requiring the service of members who are students in any instituti on of learning in the state, no teacher, professor, principal, or president of the institution shall discriminate against the student by reason of his absence, but shall credit him with all academic work accomplished to the date of his absence. Students sh all be given reasonable time to make up work missed as a result of a call to state or federal active duty.
