Unsolicited goods deemed gift to recipient -- Definition -- Return of goods

(1) Where unsolicited goods are delivered to a person, he has a right to refuse to accept delivery of the goods and is not bound to return such goods to the sender. Such unsolicited goods shall be deemed a gift to the recipient, who may use them or dispose of them in any manner without any obligation. (2) The term "unsolicited" as used in subsection (1) of this section does not include merchandise requested by the recipient o r merchandise which is addressed to or intended for another person and which the recipient received by mistake. (3) Nothing in this section shall prohibit or prevent a person receiving unsolicited goods from returning such goods to the sender.
