Unlicensed person not to maintain office for collection of specimens -- Shipment through mails regulated

(1) No person shall represent, or maintain an office or specimen collection station or other facility for the representation of any medical labor atory situated in this state unless the medical laboratory so represented is licensed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. (2) No person shall represent, or maintain an office or a specimen collection station or other facility for the representatio n of any medical laboratory situated outside this state unless the medical laboratory so represented is licensed or approved by the appropriate agency of the state concerned. (3) The cabinet may, from time to time, determine which tests may be performed o n specimens shipped through the mails and may prescribe requirements for collection, transportation, and preservation of such specimens.
