(1) With the exception of persons exempted under KRS 322A.080, it shall be unlawful for any person other than a registered geologist or a subordinate under the direction of a registered geologist to prepare any geologic reports or documents that are required by statute or administrative regulation. (2) No person shall engage in the public practice of geology, or offer to publicly practice geology, in this Commonwealth, as defined in KRS 322A.010, or to use or otherwise assume, or advertise in any way any title or description tending to convey the impression that the person is a registered geologist, unless the person has been duly registered under the provisions of this chapter.
