Kentucky Code § KRS 319A.030

The terms of the members shall be for three (3) years and until their successors are appointed and qualified, except of those first appointed one (1) shall serve for one (1) year, two (2) shall serve for two (2) years and two (2) shall serve for three (3) years. Vacancies shall be filled in the manner of the original appointment for the unexpired portion of the term only. The Governor, after notice and opportunity for a hearing, may remove any member of the board for malfeasance, neglect of duty, incompeten cy, or revocation or suspension of a license. Members of the board shall receive no salary but shall be allowed usual mileage, subsistence and per diem as provided by law for members of state boards, commissions, and committees. No member shall serve more than two (2) consecutive terms.
