Kentucky Code § KRS 246.065

Identification of lands of statewide agricultural importance

(1) The State Department of Agriculture shall identify lands of statewide agricultural importance through the use of the United States Department of Agriculture's land evaluation and site assessment program and the state's geographic information system. The de partment shall provide information on the location of agricultural lands of statewide importance to each local planning unit operating under the requirements of KRS Chapter 100. (2) The department is authorized to promulgate administrative regulations to implement this section.
