Kentucky Code § KRS 224A.050

Use of funds

It is hereby found and declared as a legislative finding of fact that in performing its duties and responsibilities, the authority is performing and carrying out essential governmental functions. The authority may, from time to time, receive and accept any and all appropriations to the authority which may be made by the General Assembly of the state, and the appropriations may be made to the authority. The authority may, from time to time, receive and accept from the state, its agencies, and any federal agency, grants for, or in aid of, any infrastructure project, and grants for, or in aid of, research or management studies or training projects related to the purposes for which the authority is created, the grants or contributions to be held, used, and appli ed only for the purposes for which the grants and contributions are made and received.
