Kentucky Code § KRS 220.520

Governmental units may be charged for service

The reasonable cost and value of any services rendered to a city, county, school district or other municipal corporation by the district may be charged to the city, county, school district or other municipal corporation and shall be paid for monthly, as th e service accrues, from current funds or the proceeds of taxes. The funds so paid shall be accounted for in the same manner as other revenues of the district.
