Kentucky Code § KRS 220.300

Real property may be acquired by district

The district may acquire by gift, devise, bequest, grant or purchase solely from the funds provided under the authority of KRS 220.010 to 220.520, such real property and interests therein as are necessary to accomplish its purpose, upon terms, privies or c onsiderations deemed reasonable by the board of directors and agreed upon by the board and the owner. Title to all property acquired by the board shall be taken in the corporate name of the district.
