Kentucky Code § KRS 210.170

Authority to accept and use grants, gifts, bequests, and devises

The Cabinet for Health and Family Services may accept money from the federal government, or any of its agencies, under any grant agreement entered into by this state or by the cabinet. Such money may be expended for capital outlay in accordance with the provisions of KRS 56.440 to 56.550. The cabinet also may accept grants, gifts, bequests, or devises from public or private sources, and use the same for any purpose within the scope of the functions of the cabinet, consistent with the terms of the grant, gif t, bequest, or devise.
