(1) May 17 of each year is designated as "Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma Awareness Day" throughout the Commonwealth. (2) The Governor shall proclaim May 17 of each year as "Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma Awareness Day" to raise awareness and encourage rese arch into effective treatments and cures.
