Anti-Bullying Month

(1) The General Assembly recognizes its responsibility to secure the environment for all Kentucky students. Thus, October of each year shall be designated as Anti - Bullying Month in the Commonwealth. (2) As a symbol of awareness of the serious issues and negati ve effects of bullying, the official ribbon for the Anti -Bullying Month in the Commonwealth shall be purple and yellow. The color purple is a reminder of domestic violence and the color yellow is in memory of those who have taken their lives as a result of bullying.
