(1) No adoptive parent, proposed adoptive parent, agency, or intermediary shall pay the attorney's fees of a biological parent for any purpose relat ed to an adoption action except as approved by the court. (2) Any person who violates subsection (1) of this section shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
