Availability of state health insurance plan coverage for certain former legislators

A member of the Legislators' Retirement Plan who leaves the General Assembly after completing twelve (12) or more years service in the General Assembly and who has n ot received any benefits under the Legislators' Retirement Plan may elect to be covered under the state health insurance plan for state employees provided under this chapter if the member pays the premium.
