It is declared that the operation of automobile parking lots or automobile storage garages, wherein automobiles are parked or stored for hire, is a business impressed with t he public interest. It is further declared that any contract purporting to limit the liability of the operator of such a lot or garage, for loss of or damage to an automobile parked for hire, or its contents, except liability for damage by the elements or by physical forces beyond the control of the operator and his employees, is against public policy.
