Tolls may be charged -- Use of tolls to retire bonds

In lieu of levying a tax for the retirement of such bonds any such county may, in its discretion, collect tolls for the use of the bridge or tunnel, and all tolls collected, after payment of the necessary cost of collection and maintenance, shall be paid t o the county treasurer, and shall be kept in a separate fund and used solely for paying the principal and interest on the bonds.
