Kentucky Register of Heritage Farms

(1) As used in this section, "structure" means a house, barn, shed, crib, silo, windmill, fence, or cemetery marker. (2) The heritage division shall establish the Kentucky Register of Heritage Farms. A heritage farm shall comprise at least forty (40) acres and (a) shall have been owned and farmed by the same family for more than one hundred (100) years or, (b) shall include at least one structure more than fifty (50) years old. (3) Designation of a farm as a Kentucky Heritage Farm under this section shall not restrict the sale, alteration, use, or the exercise of any other right of ownership.
