Credit report from consumer reporting agency requested for purpose of child support recovery

(1) The Office of the Attorney General shall request information from a certified consumer reporting agency only when a full credit report is needed for the purpose of establishing a parent's capacity to make child support payments, determining the appropriate levels of child support payments, or enforcing a child support order, award, agreement, or judgment. (2) The report will be kept confi dential and be used solely for the purpose of establishing an individual's capacity to make child support payments or determining the appropriate level of the payments. (3) The report will not be used in connection with any other civil, administrative, or criminal proceeding or for any other purpose.
