(1) The Attorney General shall keep in his office an index book, in which shall be entered the number and style of each case in which the Commonwealth is interested and the court in which it is pending, and a brief statement of the nature of the case and the steps taken therein. (2) He shall also keep on file in his office, subject to public inspection, all opinions rendered by him, alphabetically arranged.
