Employment of attorney

(1) The board may employ or retain a licensed attorney to advise them on all matters pertaining to their duties. The attorney shall attend all meetings of the board, except executive sessions when the board does not require his presence. (2) The board may app ropriate out of the funds of the district a salary or commission for the attorney appointed to represent the board.
