Unlawful restrictions on federally licensed firearms manufacturer, importer, or dealer

No city, county, urban -county government, charter county, or consolidated local government shall utilize the zoning process to prohibit a federally licensed firear ms manufacturer, importer, or dealer from locating at any place within the jurisdiction at which any other business may locate. This section shall not prohibit local jurisdictions from subjecting the businesses of federally licensed firearms manufacturers, importers, and dealers to the same restrictions related to the exterior appearance of the property and number of paid employees applied to other commercial uses in residential zones. No restrictions shall be enacted that could be reasonably construed to s olely affect federally licensed firearms manufacturers, importers, or dealers.
