(a) Upon complaint of any authorized agent of the director of the Kansas office of early childhood, the county or district attorney in the appropriate jurisdiction is hereby authorized and required to file a complaint and prosecute to the final determination all actions or proceedings against any person under this act. (b) This section shall take effect on and after July 1, 2026.
