(a) Unlawful use of inmate labor is the knowing use by any corrections officer or employee of any correctional institution of the labor of any inmate or inmates of a correctional institution for the personal benefit of such corrections officer or employee. (b) Unlawful use of inmate labor shall constitute a class A misdemeanor.
